Innovative aerospace structural technology company on segment of CNN's Business Unusual

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - September 16, 2002 - Foam Matrix, a leader in innovative structural technology for aerospace and other markets, announced today that the company was featured on the popular television show, CNN's Business Unusual, airing Sunday, September 15, 2002. The show will be repeated on CNNfn, at many airport terminals featuring CNN and CNNfn, and in inflight programming on many of the world's airlines.

The Business Unusual segment details the unique history of Foam Matrix and its founder and president, Kent Sherwood. Gayla Hope, producer for the segment, emphasized the company's innovative abilities in her coverage, stating that the technology is "winning awards and contracts in the aerospace industry" and that the company has "wings to soar." Foam Matrix was recently honored with a 2002 Supplier Innovation Award from The Boeing Company's Phantom Works Division.

"While our history is important and we are delighted to be able to tell our story to the public, we believe our future success lies with new development in aerospace and other industries," Sherwood commented. "We have an incredible team of people at Foam Matrix who will continue to be innovative and seek out new applications for our technology."
